Navigating Creative Blocks: A Virtual Talk with DOC NYC

Erica Ginsberg will explore the topic of how to navigate creative blocks, drawing from the book Creative Resilience. She’ll discuss innovative ways to navigate creative blocks, addressing common challenges like impostor syndrome, creative stagnation, and dealing with setbacks. Participants will gain practical strategies for overcoming these hurdles and fostering a resilient creative mindset that empowers them to thrive in their artistic journey. This event is being hosted by DOC NYC and is geared towards filmmakers. However, many of the strategies discussed will also be relevant to folks in other creative disciplines. All registrants may participate in the live session, and will also receive access to the recorded event, a written transcript, the chat transcript and a copy of the slide presentation after the livestream. Tickets are $19 ($14 for IFC Center members) and can be booked at https://www.docnyc.net/event/navigating-creative-blocks/. If you have questions about registration, please email ticketing@docnyc.net. For questions about accommodations and accessibility, including requests for live ASL interpretation, please email accessibility@docnyc.net.
