Docs Reads: Panel and Signing for Creative Resilience

Artists across disciplines face challenges of motivation, self-confidence, creative blocks, rejection, and balancing creative pursuits with the rest of life. Creative Resilience is a guidebook for anyone navigating these challenges. Author Erica Ginsberg includes relatable real-world examples from creatives across disciplines, ages, and stages of their careers. She cites her experiences as an artist and arts administrator with a mix of humor, linguistic reframing, and reflective exercises to give readers tools to manage aspects of the creative process and creative life.

The event, organized as part of Docs In Progress’ Docs Reads series, will include a reading from the book and a panel featuring Erica and artists Alyscia Cunningham and Amy DeLouise who are featured in the book. Signed copies of the book available for purchase for $19.99.

Taking place at Docs In Progress (8560 2nd Avenue - Suite 113 Silver Spring, MD). Enter from Apple Avenue. See map and directions from parking and Silver Spring Metro.
